En Fuego has long been known as
a Del Mar hot spot, which is one
reason why its name is so fitting. Loosely translated
as On Fire, En Fuego is the place
to be on a sunny afternoon or after work for
happy hour or a cozy dinner outside under one
of their heat lamps.
En Fuego burst onto the scene in
1930, then known as La Tienda. Famous for their
tangy margaritas and South of the Border fare,
En Fuego serves up spicy numbers like grilled
chicken chili rellenos, shredded pork tamales,
grilled calamari tortas and carne asada burritos.
